Protecting your trust and your data

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Typely AI is developed by GrowthyAI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. ("GrowthyAI", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit typelyai.zstarai.com, use the Typely AI iOS app and keyboard extension, or contact support. Typely AI includes AI writing tools and Discover photo-editing features. If a photo you upload contains a face, see Facial Data in Photos below.

What we handle

When you use Typely AI, we may handle:

  • Text and prompts you submit to keyboard, chat, Creator, translation, and summary features.
  • Photos you choose to upload or capture for Discover templates, text-to-image, image summary, or related photo tools.
  • Generated results, creation history, credits, subscription status, and identifiers needed to connect your session.
  • Account & contact data you provide when signing in, subscribing, or contacting support.
  • Device and diagnostics data such as device type, OS version, language, crash logs, and performance metrics.

If a photo contains a face, facial features in that image are processed only as part of the photo you submitted, as described in Facial Data in Photos below.

What we do not collect

  • We do not use Face ID, TrueDepth, or other facial-recognition technology to identify you, verify your identity, or build a biometric profile.
  • We do not scan your device for faces or collect face data outside photos you actively choose to upload or capture for a feature.
  • We do not show ads, build cross-app profiles, or sell your personal information.

Why we handle it

  • Provide keyboard, writing, translation, chat, and Creator features you request.
  • Create, edit, save, and deliver Discover photo results you request.
  • Keep credits, subscription status, and history connected to your account or session.
  • Process purchases through Apple and validate subscription entitlements.
  • Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

We do not train AI models on your content.

AI processing and third-party APIs

Typely AI runs your requests on our servers. Depending on the feature, we send the text, photo, prompt, template selection, and settings needed to complete that task to one or more third-party AI services.

Services we use or may use include OpenAI (text and image APIs), Google (Gemini and compatible image APIs), and other commercial AI APIs we integrate when needed to complete a request.

These providers receive your content only to perform the specific task you requested. We do not sell your content to them, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train Typely AI's own models. Each provider also processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. Please only upload photos, text, and prompts that you have the rights and permissions to use.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, and ongoing monitoring.

Your rights & choices

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Disable analytics through your device settings when available.
  • Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting support.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis.

We respond to verified requests within applicable regulatory timelines.

Facial Data in Photos

This section explains how Typely AI handles facial data that may appear in photos you choose to upload. It applies when you use Discover templates, text-to-image, image summary, or any other feature that processes a photo containing a face.

What we collect. Typely AI does not scan your device for faces or collect face data outside photos you actively choose to upload or capture for a feature. When an uploaded photo contains a face, we process the facial features in that image only as part of the photo file you submitted. We do not extract a separate biometric template, faceprint, or identity record from your face.

How we use it. We use facial data in a photo solely to perform the AI edit or generation you requested, such as applying a template style, changing a background, or producing a styled photo result. We do not use facial data for advertising, cross-app profiling, identity verification, or training our own or third-party AI models.

Sharing. For each photo task, the uploaded photo (including any facial features in it) and the related prompt or template settings are transmitted from our backend to the third-party AI service used for that task (such as OpenAI, Google, or another integrated provider) so the requested output can be produced. We do not sell facial data and we do not share it with ad, measurement, or data-broker services.

Storage and retention. Uploaded photos and generated results that contain faces are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States, under our control, for the retention periods in Retention and deletion below.

Deletion. You can delete your account data from the app (Settings → Privacy & data → Manage My Data → Delete Account), which removes your uploads, results, and task history from our servers. You can also email support@zstarai.com to request deletion or ask a privacy question. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription.

Service providers

Photos, prompts, and text may be processed by third-party AI services to complete a request, including OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and other commercial APIs we integrate from time to time. Purchase validation may involve Apple and RevenueCat. Storage and delivery may use AWS (S3 and CloudFront). Providers act on our instructions to deliver the feature you requested. We do not sell your personal information or use your content for advertising.

Retention and deletion

  • Uploads that are never submitted for a generation are kept for 24 hours.
  • Source photos for a submitted task are kept for 7 days.
  • Generated results are kept for 30 days.
  • Prompt text, task records, credit entries, and subscription records are kept while the account exists.

Deleting account data from Settings removes your server-side uploads, results, and task history. Deleting account data does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions through Apple.

Children's privacy

Typely AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us so we can delete it.

International data transfers

We operate globally from the United States and other locations. Whenever personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on lawful mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses and execute data-processing agreements with our vendors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use of Typely AI after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
